Prepare for Life in the US after High School
Adult TCK Debriefing
June 23-27, 2025
Ozark Christian College
1111 N Main St Rd
Joplin, MO 64801
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new offering from TRAIN International designed specifically for college-aged missionary Third-Culture Kids (TCKs) to help them navigate one of the most pivotal moments in their lives—transitioning from the mission field to adulthood and college life in the United States.
As you know, the challenges that these young adults face can be overwhelming. Moving from the unique and often isolated environment of the mission field to the fast-paced, complex culture of college life in the U.S. is no small adjustment. Many adult TCKs struggle to process their cultural background, feeling caught between worlds and unsure of where they truly belong.
We believe this transition can be a time of incredible potential for their growth and renewal in Christ.
What you can expect:
-
Understand and embrace your unique Third-Culture Kid identity
-
Process your mission field upbringing to find peace in the transition
-
Explore and discuss common issues that ATCKs experience moving stateside
-
Grow in resilience and confidence to cross cultures and enter young adulthood well
-
Engage in spiritual renewal and space to connect with God and others during this significant life change
-
Have fun and grow together with other ATCKs just like you on a US college campus
