Coaching is a transformational process where a professionally-trained coach walks with you in the midst of transitions to resource you, empower you, and offer you the support, encouragement, and accountability you need to thrive. With one of TRAIN International’s coaches walking alongside you, you’ll create plans and set goals that help you move forward well into whatever is next.
Our two-week pre-departure training equips cross-cultural workers with a solid foundation through spiritual formation, strategies for leaving well, principles and approaches for cultural adaptation, coping skills for culture shock, interpersonal conflict skills, methods for team building, awareness of singleness and family issues and more.
Reentry can be a time of diverse emotions and expectations which can lead to unexpected feelings of frustration, grief, and isolation. This one-week renewal for those transitioning back into American culture debriefs the cross-cultural experience, explores reverse culture shock, and equips for healthy reentry into the home culture.
ACCESS coaching challenges and educates local churches to move to the next level with their current missions strategy! In successive modules, you will also explore structures and approaches to better care for your global workers as you partner more effectively with them on the field. Local church leaders (elders, staff and missions team) will interact with TRAIN mission leaders and discover ways to raise the bar in your missions endeavors, or discover a place to start if you have not yet developed one.
